JM Albaine Engineering, LLC. A structural engineering firm that provides quality engineering services. Founded in 2004, the company provides services for hundreds of clients needing guidance and professional services including structural investigation and design, restoration, retrofit and rehabilitation, and independent review for threshold structures including building code review.

Our work covers several states, mainly Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Montana, and North Carolina. Every project is taken with the utmost care as we value the trust that Clients place upon our services.

Jose-Miguel (JM) Albaine, M.S., P.E., the principal of the company, has over 25 years of experience in the design, review, and inspection of buildings. The vast network of professional associates allows the firm to assemble a design team that can undertake projects of any given magnitude. JM Albaine is an educator, and has taught courses as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Connecticut, and seminars on a request basis.

Mr. Albaine’s design philosophy is summarized in his own words: “Structural design is a field of great responsibility and challenge. It is the best combination of two of the most satisfying activities known to the human mind: art and science”.
