Residential Structural Design
Conduct structural analyses on the main frames considering all loading conditions such as dead, live, snow and wind loads. For residence located on the sea shore, we’ll determine the hydrodynamic and wave loads associated with flood hazard zones to comply with the requirements of the Building Code.
Residential design per the International Residential Code (IRC), and the Wood Framed Construction Manual for High Wind Zones:
- Design of Wood-framed structures including engineering lumber for large open spaces. Design for high wind areas, and special hazard flood zones (A and V)
- Design of residence with Insulated Concrete Form (ICF), reinforced concrete walls and floors.
- Design of residence with light-gage steel (metal studs & C-floor joists)
